Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments efficiently with proper documentation and verification
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning and time management
- Report mechanical issues and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts as needed
- Pass background check and MVR verification
