Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Texas and Florida
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries
- Represent Swift Transport professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and electronic logging
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
- Texas residency required for regional routes
