Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently operate Class A trucks for local and regional delivery routes in the San Francisco area.
- Cargo Integrity: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and secure the loading and unloading of freight.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete all necessary DOT paperwork on time.
- Customer Relations: Interact professionally with clients and warehouse staff to ensure high service standards and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
- Safety Management: Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Experience Level: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively use dispatch radio systems.
