Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical integrity of the vehicle.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delays.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and vehicle maintenance workshops.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving techniques.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
