Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Inspect the vehicle before, during, and after the trip to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) compliant with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding routes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B (or equivalent) with the proper endorsements.
- Must possess a Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
