Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to destinations across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and maintain accurate logs.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card must be presented.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
