Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining accurate documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and delivery planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of NC traffic laws and route optimization
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight shifts
