Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment on highways and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately while adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
