Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, vans, and flatbeds, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate tie-downs and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Devices) and paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing Prime Transport Solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
