Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated individuals to operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for transporting goods across regional routes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and deliver freight on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license issued by the state of Tennessee.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety regulations.
