Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on various routes throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues encountered on the road.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELD).
