Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to strict time schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the proper endorsements (Air Brakes, Doubles/Triples, Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
