Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a professional and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and shippers.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and hazardous material handling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
