Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and electronic logging device records
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida highway systems
- Experience with hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
