Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within North Carolina
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using forklifts when required
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
