Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery logs (E-Logs).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (CDL Permit holders considered for training).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
