Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate trip logs and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while prioritizing safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
