Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS protocols, and California state laws
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Document delivery paperwork and resolve route discrepancies
- Operate in diverse weather conditions and urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and current physical examination
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and hazardous materials handling
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Customer service-oriented with problem-solving skills
