Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated) while adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules with 98% on-time performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS navigation technology
- Maintain clean driving record and zero accident policy compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required (Hazmat endorsement a plus)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
- Must pass background check and MVR review
