Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for long-haul routes across the Midwest
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Plan efficient routes while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Proven safe driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
