As a CDL Driver at Swift Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) matching.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols at all times.
- Uphold a professional image while representing Swift Logistics on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen certification (negative result).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and handle cargo manually.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management.
