Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Handle paperwork including bills of lading and delivery manifests
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers professionally
- Perform secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Complete mandatory training and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with mountain driving and winter conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
