Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery logs and pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load management and timely deliveries
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-sensitive and hazardous materials
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and regional delivery hubs
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
