Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional and local routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain impeccable driving records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for timely deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
- Represent the company professionally at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
