Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficient loading/unloading of freight with proper documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service during transit stops
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicagoland traffic patterns
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
