Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local/regional routes within North Carolina
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize transit times while ensuring on-time deliveries
- Operate GPS navigation systems for efficient routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NC roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
