Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and HOS guidelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in California
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and logistics software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight routes as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
