Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to transport freight within Boston metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Perform minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston-area traffic patterns and regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment familiarity
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
