Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and damage prevention.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DOT) and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience driving commercial trucks.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and work varying schedules as needed.
