Job Overview
We are looking for safe, reliable, and customer-focused drivers to manage local and regional delivery routes in and around the Fresno area.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA and company safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic delivery records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (tire pressure, fluid levels) as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography in the Central Valley.
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
