Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must be in hand).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (or equivalent for qualified new grads).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
