Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and driver's daily status reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Pass a comprehensive background check (MVR) and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
