Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods throughout the region.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork, ensuring full DOT compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required (CDL Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weather conditions.
