Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks (Flatbed, Reefer, or Dry Van) efficiently and safely.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and coverings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
