Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight using pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro routes and traffic patterns
- Basic freight handling and securement skills
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
