Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) across the Southwest region
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload shipments with precision and proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents or delays immediately
- Support team members during peak demand periods and route challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented with professional communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
