Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance logs
- Transport hazardous/non-hazardous materials per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling
- Load/unload cargo with precision and safety protocols
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all conditions
- Utilize electronic logging systems for documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and regulations
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
