Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver time-sensitive shipments
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with all FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic records
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Oregon/Washington highway systems and hazmat protocols
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts as needed
- Pass background check and TSA clearance
