Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across San Francisco and Bay Area routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while meeting strict time windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Represent our company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
