Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units on regional routes (200-300 miles/day)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Secure and verify cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers for on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Complete required training on new technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
