Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver goods to diverse locations including ports, warehouses, and distribution centers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach area and Southern California routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Twic card preferred (not required for hire)
