Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips per DOT standards
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat placarding (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
