Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and ETAs
- Secure and verify cargo during loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at client delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Virginia regional routes and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Mobile app proficiency for electronic documentation
- Transportation Security Administration (TSA) clearance preferred
