Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across Southern California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Report mechanical issues and vehicle maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
