Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across Florida and Southeastern routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain consistent delivery schedules and communication with dispatch
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro routes and Southeastern US highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
