Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Strictly adhere to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely, cost-effective transport
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of Texas road networks and weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in variable climates
