Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with precision and verify shipment accuracy
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and complete required paperwork meticulously
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
