Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within a 300-mile radius
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Hazmat regulations (H endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology experience
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
