Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance (tire checks, fluid levels)
- Maintain clean MVR and pass regular drug screenings
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (A preferred)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Forklift certification a plus
- Knowledge of California road regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
