Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and fuel usage
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Document all delivery transactions and maintain required paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and regional highways
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
